Zeina Khalil Hajj

Zeina Khalil Hajj is a seasoned leader in environmental advocacy with extensive experience in various high-profile roles. Currently, Zeina serves as the Executive Director of PIE, an international platform supporting the clean energy transition, beginning in December 2023. Zeina also chairs the Board of Directors at Ekō since January 2022 and previously held significant positions at 350.org and Greenpeace, including leading global campaigning efforts at 350.org from March 2021 to December 2023 and serving as Executive Director for Greenpeace MENA from May 2018 to October 2020, as well as Greenpeace Mediterranean from September 2014 to April 2018. Earlier roles included heading the Toxics and Agriculture Campaigns at Greenpeace International and representing Greenpeace in Lebanon, focusing on toxic pollution issues. Zeina has played a crucial role in various campaigns aimed at promoting greener practices within the electronics industry and advocating for environmental justice in Arabic-speaking media.
