P.eng. Tim Coleman

Tim Coleman, P.Eng. is an experienced engineer specializing in mechanical and design engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Reactor at Ekona Power since December 2020, Tim previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at WhiteWater West Industries Ltd, focusing on the Water Rides division. Tim began work at Westport Innovations as a Design Engineer, where significant contributions included the development of a high-pressure liquid natural gas pump and the filing of three patents related to pump performance. Further roles included Product Designer at Teleflex Canada, managing the design of various electronic control components, and Mechanical Engineer at Questair Technologies/Xebec, overseeing the production of vital technology components. Tim's engineering career began with co-op positions at Questair Technologies and Powertech Labs Inc., where experience was gained in testing and system design. Tim holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermofluids from The University of British Columbia.
