Jesper Rix

Jesper Rix has a diverse background in data science, software engineering, and web development. Jesper is currently working as a Data Science Team Lead at Ekstra Bladet, where they oversee a team of data scientists. Prior to this, they were a Lead Data Scientist at the same company. Before joining Ekstra Bladet, Jesper worked as a Data Scientist at the company from 2019 to 2021. In 2012, Jesper founded madplanuge.dk, an online portal for users to create their own recipes and generate shopping lists. Jesper owned and managed the platform until 2020. Jesper also has experience as a Software Engineer at Doms ApS from 2015 to 2019 and as a Developer at Findforsikring.dk from 2013 to 2015. Jesper started their career as a Junior Analytics Consultant at IIH Nordic in 2011, where they worked on web analytics implementation and web development. Jesper also worked as a Freelance Web Programmer from 2009 to 2011, specializing in web and software development.

Jesper Rix's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Vejle Handelsskole and completed The Higher Commercial Examination from 2006 to 2009. After that, they enrolled in Københavns Erhvervsakademi from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained an AP Graduate degree in Computer Science. Following this, Jesper pursued further education at Københavns Erhvervsakademi from 2014 to 2015, earning a BA in software development. The field of study for these degrees has not been specified.
