Kimberly Grunder

Kimberly Grunder has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Kimberly is currently the Director of Talent Development at EL Education, a position they began in November 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Teaching Fellow at Educators Thriving starting in October 2023.

From 2018 to 2023, Grunder worked at Learning Network. Kimberly held various roles during this time, including Director of Leadership Development and Performance Management, Director of Field Operations, and Academic Instructional Leader.

Before joining Learning Network, Grunder worked at PUC Schools from 2013 to 2018. Kimberly 'sroles at PUC Schools included Consultant, Instructional Leader, and Assistant Principal.

Earlier in their career, Grunder worked at Teach for America as a Director of Teaching and Learning and Program Director for Secondary Literacy. Kimberly was responsible for creating learning and development programs for teachers and managing cohorts of teachers to achieve academic results.

Grunder began their career as a High School English and English as a Second Language Teacher at Houston ISD from 2006 to 2008.

Kimberly Grunder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued their Secondary English and English as a Second Language Teaching Credentials at the University of St. Thomas (TX). Later, they completed a Master's degree in Educational Studies from Loyola Marymount University from 2012 to 2014.
