Anne Reed

Anne Reed currently serves as the Manager of System Balancing and Interchange at El Paso Electric Company, a position held since October 2013, overseeing the Energy Imbalance Market and various system balancing functions. Previous roles include Supervisor of Energy Management, where oversight of real-time scheduling and accuracy in transmission requests was key, and Senior Energy Analyst, managing after-the-fact reconciliations and day-ahead scheduling. Reed began a career in energy operations as a NERC Certified Generation Operator and Real-Time Scheduler-Transmission, demonstrating extensive expertise in energy management. Academic credentials include a Master’s Certificate in Public Utilities Regulation and Economics from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from The University of Texas at El Paso.
