Kate Milone has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Kate currently serves as the Co-Owner of Annapolis Marine Art Gallery since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Elaine Ellis Center of Health from 2015, where they held the position of Director, Quality and Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for directing quality improvement/quality assurance programs, risk management, patient safety, and environmental safety activities. Kate also acted as the compliance officer and privacy officer, ensuring the Center's compliance with federal laws and regulations. Before that, Kate served as a Consultant in Quality and Risk Management at the same organization. In 2012, they were the Vice President of Quality, Safety, and Accreditation at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center. In this position, they oversaw regulatory standards compliance, directed the quality management program, and ensured continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
Kate Milone completed their Master of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Memphis State University from 1982 to 1983.
