Scott Erickson

Scott Erickson has a diverse work history in various leadership and management roles. Scott started their career as a Group Leader at Idaho Youth Ranch in 2002 before moving on to work as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Awareness Center for Counseling. Scott then joined High Country Behavioral Health as a Full-time Clinician, Clinical Director, and later as the Quality Assurance Director. In 2015, Erickson joined South Lincoln Medical Center as the Executive Director of The Hope Clinic and later served as the Acting Human Resources Manager and Interim CEO Management Team Member. In 2018, they founded Erickson Counseling & Coaching LLC, where they served as the Executive Director. In 2018, they also became the Director of Human Resources and Operations at South Lincoln Medical Center, overseeing various departments and strengthening employee engagement. In 2019, they took on the role of Chief Operations Officer at South Lincoln Medical Center, leading multiple senior leaders and serving as the Compliance Officer, Chief Security Officer, and Risk Management Officer. Throughout their career, Erickson has demonstrated expertise in healthcare operations, human resources, and behavioral health therapy.

Scott Erickson earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Counseling, specializing in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, from Idaho State University, attending from 2004 to 2006. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Family Studies and a minor in Communication from Weber State University, completing their studies there from 1999 to 2001. Scott received their High School Diploma from Clearfield High School in 1996. In addition to their formal education, Scott has Level II Trained EMDR Therapy certification from EMDRIA-HAP.
