Leandro Sousa

Leandro Sousa is an experienced legal operations professional currently serving as the Global Legal Operations Lead for eDiscovery and Records Management at Elanco since March 2022. In this role, Leandro Sousa is responsible for developing the company’s Global Information Governance model and enhancing legal operations processes related to data access, search, and retention within biosciences, including regulatory and intellectual property processes. Prior to this position, Leandro Sousa held various roles at Deloitte from December 2013 to March 2022, managing international teams on high-stakes litigation cases and engaging in complex investigations, particularly in the oil and mining sector. Early career experiences include roles at 55social and Media Contacts focusing on data monitoring and analysis, as well as a research internship at Escola Politécnica da USP. Leandro Sousa holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Universidade de São Paulo.
