Laura Ferguson

Laura Ferguson is a Senior Scientist at Elasmogen Ltd since June 2017, previously serving as a Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen from August 2015 to June 2017, focusing on the developmental origins of brown and white adipose tissue in relation to type 2 diabetes. Prior to this, Laura contributed to shark VNAR development as a Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen from February 2013 to June 2014, and gained experience at Pfizer as a Research Fellow from November 2010 to November 2011. Laura Ferguson earned a Ph.D. in Diabetes from the University of Aberdeen (2004-2008) after completing a BSc (Hons) in Genetics (Immunology) at the same institution (2000-2004).
