Gergely Kalapos

Gergely Kalapos is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Elastic since November 2018, Gergely has also held the position of Senior Software Engineer within the same company. Previously, Gergely worked at Dynatrace from June 2014 to October 2018, contributing to the development of monitoring tools for .NET applications as a Software Engineer. Gergely began a career in software development at INSITE IT GmbH, joining the startup as a Software Developer shortly after completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem in 2012. Gergely later earned a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in 2014. Earlier roles included working as a German-speaking IT Service Desk agent at IT Services Hungary Kft. and a Summer Intern within the internal IT department at Siemens.
