Ryan W.

Ryan W. has a diverse work experience starting from 2006. Ryan worked as a Web Developer at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH from September 2006 to July 2008. Ryan then joined the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) as a Developer from May 2007 to August 2008. Ryan W. then worked at D+H as a Technical Analyst from May 2009 to December 2011, where they delivered fixes and enhancements to their OpenText installation and proprietary broker/lending platforms. Ryan then joined Sokanu as a Lead Software Engineer from January 2012 to September 2017, during which they contributed to the growth and scaling of the company as it supported thousands of people and captured millions of responses. In their role as Chief Technology Officer at Sokanu from October 2017 to October 2019, they had significant influence over the technical aspects of the company, including the choice of tech stack and system architecture. Currently, Ryan W. is working at Elation Health, where they started as a Systems Engineer in October 2019, contributing to infrastructure improvements such as Python3 migration, OS migration, and Infrastructure as Code adoption.
