Vasanthi Balasubramanian

Vasanthi Balasubramanian has a strong background in the e-learning industry, with significant experience in leadership roles. Vasanthi currently holds the position of Member at Chief, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at eLearning Brothers starting in January 2022. Vasanthi was previously the Chief Executive Officer at Origin Learning Inc from August 2020 to January 2022. Vasanthi co-founded Origin Learning in 2009 and held the position of President - Business Development until August 2020. Before their time at Origin Learning, Vasanthi worked as an Associate Vice President at Hurix Systems from April 2008 to August 2009. Earlier in their career, they served as an Assistant General Manager at Elementk from 2002 to 2008, a Project Manager at Sify Limited from May 2001 to February 2004, and a Team Lead at NIIT from 2000 to 2001.

Vasanthi Balasubramanian attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta from 2005 to 2006, where they completed a Senior Management Programme in Strategic Management. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) at Indira Gandhi National Open University, with a focus on Management. Starting in 1982 and ending in 1986, they studied Commerce at Annamalai University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com). Additionally, they attended the Institute of Hotel Management from 1982 to 1985, obtaining a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (DHMCT).
