Christopher Tapia is an Electrochemical Engineer at Electra since June 2023, where responsibilities include planning test campaigns, analyzing data on anode performance, and improving lab safety and processes. In addition to engineering roles, Christopher serves as a tutor for chemistry and math and holds a position as Assistant Operations Officer in the United States Army Reserve, coordinating training and planning operations. Previous experience includes research on battery systems at the University of Michigan, vehicle systems engineering at Booz Allen Hamilton, and roles in mentorship and support at various educational institutions. Christopher holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
