Vaidyanathan Ramadurai

Vaidyanathan Ramadurai has over 18 years of work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. Vaidyanathan started their career in 2003 at Sandbridge Technologies as a Senior Engineer, where they were responsible for end-to-end fixed point implementation of a complete LTE PHY baseband receiver. In 2010, they joined Optimum Semiconductor Technologies Inc. as a Principal Engineer and worked on the Smart Audio Project. Vaidyanathan implemented WiFi driver for Silicon Labs MCU on SB3500 DSP platform using UART interface and worked on floating point to fixed point conversion and optimization of audio processing front end blocks like Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and Noise Reducer (NR). Vaidyanathan also implemented device drivers for an 8-array microphone and speakers. Currently, they are working as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Electra Vehicles, Inc. since 2022.

Vaidyanathan Ramadurai obtained a B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2001. Vaidyanathan then went on to pursue a M.S in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2003.
