Vania de la Cruz

Vania De La Cruz is a Structural Engineer II at General Dynamics Electric Boat since July 2022, having previously held the position of Structural Engineer I within the same company. Prior to this role, Vania worked at Costco Wholesale from June 2021 to July 2022 as a Front End Assistant, where responsibilities included assisting with membership and promotional activities. In addition, Vania contributed as a Senior Design Team Member at Whitcraft Group from August 2021 to May 2022, focusing on the development of an automated seam resistance welding machine and improvements in business processes. Early career experience includes a server position at Pralines Ice Cream from February 2018 to March 2020. Vania holds a degree in Management and Engineering for Manufacturing from the University of Connecticut, achieved in 2022, and an earlier educational background in Manufacturing Technology with a focus on Precision Machining Technology from Platt Technical High School, completed in 2018.
