Rachel Helding has a diverse work experience in the animation and motion graphics industry. Rachel started their career as a Depth Artist and Roto Artist at Stereo D from 2013 to 2015, where they worked on projects like Iron Man 3, The Wolverine, and Star Trek: Into Darkness. Rachel then joined Walt Disney Animation Studios as a Stereo Artist from 2015 to 2016.
Afterwards, Rachel worked as a Motion Graphic Video Editor at Electric Monster in 2018, followed by roles as a Storyboard Artist/Animator, Concept Artist, and Storyboard Artist at various companies from 2019 to 2021.
In 2021, Rachel was a motion graphic designer at agora.studio and an Art Director at Electric Monster. Rachel also had the opportunity to be part of the Epic Games Unreal Engine Virtual Production Fellowship in Winter 2021, where they received intensive training and created an animated short called "At The End of the Tunnel."

Rachel Helding has a diverse education history. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Louisiana State University, where they majored in Graphic Design and minored in Theatre set design. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Digital Character Animation at the University of Teesside in 2011-2012. Rachel later expanded their skills by attending various courses and workshops. In 2017, Rachel attended the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation to focus on Storyboarding. In 2018, they enrolled in the Animation Guild for courses in Storyboarding and Gesture Drawing, as well as Gesture Drawing and Figure Drawing. Additionally, Rachel obtained a certification in 'Unreal Fellowship: Virtual Production' from Unreal Engine in April 2021.
