Allan Zhao

Allan Zhao is an experienced engineer and scientist specializing in electric transportation, currently serving as Engineer/Scientist III at EPRI since April 2022, where responsibilities include administering product vetting for the EPRI Vetted Product List for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). Prior roles include Engineer/Scientist positions at EPRI and a Practicum Student at the California Air Resources Board, where Allan assessed strategies for advancing zero-emission vehicle deployment. Work history also features a role as Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University's Bill Lane Center for the American West, focusing on Community Choice Aggregation in California, as well as a Schultz Energy Fellow, evaluating zero-emission vehicles and energy storage solutions. Additional experiences include positions with the US Congress and various local government entities in California.
