Engineer/scientist IV at Electric Power Research Institute

Inalvis Alvarez Fernandez, Ph.D. is an Engineer/Scientist IV at EPRI with extensive experience in simulation of power system restoration, self-healing micro-grid, transmission, distribution, and control of distributed energy systems. In the past, Inalvis has worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida, as well as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Inalvis has also interned at Siemens and UniKey Technologies, gaining experience in electric power system interconnect concepts and testing low power access control systems.
