Bao Truong

Bao Truong currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at Electrified Thermal Solutions, where leadership focuses on the development of the Commercial Demonstration Joule Hive Thermal Battery and successful grant efforts yielding over $40 million in awards. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Lead for Strategic Initiatives at Malta Inc, where Bao led techno-economic analyses and system benefit value models, as well as various roles at TerraPower LLC, including Manager of Design Integration and Supervisor of Reactor Safety, where responsibilities included design integration, safety analysis methodologies, and team management. Bao's extensive academic background includes a PhD in Nuclear Engineering, a Master of Science in Nuclear Science and Engineering, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Nuclear Engineering, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
