Poulose Joseph

Poulose Joseph has over 30 years of work experience in the payment and technology industry. Poulose began their career as a Sales Executive at Varun Electronics in 1989 before moving on to roles with Diebold HMA and Opus Software Solutions, where they held positions in systems management and support for ATM and payment applications. In 2002, Joseph joined First Gulf Bank as an Asst. Vice President, responsible for managing alternate channels such as debit and credit cards, mobile banking, internet banking, and call center services. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Special Projects Manager for Electronic Documents Centre, specializing in the implementation and support of payment applications. Joseph then worked at Tech Forte as a Vice President of Payments in 2011 before transitioning to self-employment as a Managing Director and Senior Consultant representing Payfair, Bolero, and Perpetuuiti from 2012-2014. Since 2015, they have held the role of Director of Sales and Business Development at Electronic Documents Centre, where they lead the Special Projects department in implementing technology solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Poulose Joseph pursued their education in a chronological order. Poulose attended St. Pauls School from 1983 to 1986, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. From 1986 to 1989, they studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Technical Institute of Tamil Nadu, obtaining a diploma in the field. Later, from 2021 to 2022, Poulose attended Collège de Paris, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Project Management. In 2023, they attended the Project Management Institute Chennai Chapter, obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
