Enrique Villarreal is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently employed at Electronic Power Design since January 2023. Previously, Villarreal served as a Materials Engineer Intern at Elemental Coatings, where responsibilities included testing and developing polyurethane and silicon-based aerosol anti-icing coatings. Experience as a Research Assistant in Microfabrication at the University of Houston involved the manufacturing of devices using Photolithography for various applications. Villarreal also held the position of Project Engineer for AIAA-UH, focusing on designing a spring-damper module for a high-powered rocket and employing control systems analysis. Earlier experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Freelon at the University of Houston, contributing to the design of an electron gun. Villarreal holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, as well as Associate of Science degrees from Galveston College in Physics and Mechanical Engineering.
