Anish Patankar

Anish Patankar has had a range of roles in the healthcare and technology industries over the years. Anish started their career at Infimed Inc (now Varian Medical Systems) as a Software Engineer from 2002 to 2005. Anish then worked at Siemens Healthcare as a Senior Software Engineer in 2005 and Philips as a Senior Manager of Product Development from 2006 to 2012. At Philips, they led the development of SaaS Radiology imaging and informatics solutions and managed an ecosystem of customers and partners. In 2012, Anish joined OPSWAT as a Director of Product Management before moving on to Varian Medical Systems as the Director of Product Management and Digital Solutions from 2013 to 2015. During their time at Varian Medical Systems, Anish launched new solutions and led acquisition integration and go-to-market solution launches. Anish then joined GE Healthcare as the Senior Director of Product Management, Health Cloud from 2015 to 2017, driving digital transformation and building an ecosystem of ISVs for GE Healthcare's Digital platform. From 2017 to 2020, Anish worked at Barco as the Vice President of Healthcare, leading the healthcare incubator and diversification into informatics, SaaS, and analytics. Anish also built a startup team of product managers, marketing, and software developers. Currently, Anish holds the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Oncology Informatics Software at Elekta since 2020.

Anish Patankar holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing and Strategy from the University of California, Davis. Anish also has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
