Dr. Jules Keghie

Dr. Jules Keghie has extensive work experience in various roles within the engineering and medical field.

From 2020 to the present, Dr. Keghie has been the VP and Head of System Engineering and Architecture for Linac SW & Solutions at Elekta. In this role, they lead the global Systems Engineering discipline and is responsible for creating and maintaining radiotherapy solutions, as well as partnering with global x-functions for best value creation and driving continuous improvement and change management.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2020, Dr. Keghie worked at Philips Medical Systems DMC GmbH. Dr. Jules held various positions such as Group Manager of Hardware Engineering and Group Manager of Approbation and Mechatronic Fluoro. In these roles, they led teams and was responsible for the development and certification of Radiography/Fluoroscopy systems, as well as ensuring product timely certifications in all markets worldwide.

Before their time at Philips, Dr. Keghie worked as a Research Assistant at Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, where they focused on teaching and research in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on EMC and practical application of electromagnetic topology.

Dr. Jules also has experience as a System Engineer at Airbus Deutschland GmbH, an EMC Engineer at WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co KG, and an intern at Siemens.

Prior to their professional career, Dr. Keghie worked as a radio and television technician during their self-employment from 1997 to 1999.

Dr. Jules Keghie completed an Executive MBA from Mannheim Business School from 2019 to 2021, specializing in ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA. Dr. Jules also pursued another Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School during the same time period. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from Helmut Schmidt University / University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg. Dr. Jules completed their Dipl.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) from 2000 to 2005. Dr. Keghie also holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC Executive Education. Additionally, they have obtained an IPMA Level D certification from the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
