Nigel Deshpande

Nigel Deshpande is an experienced medical physicist and co-founder with a strong background in radiation oncology and technology innovation. Currently, Nigel serves as a Medical Physicist in Product & Design at Elekta, facilitating collaboration between external stakeholders and internal teams to develop workflow tools for radiation therapy. As a co-founder of SLANT Sustainable Technologies, Nigel addresses environmental issues related to food shopping habits. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Leicester. Nigel's previous roles encompass significant responsibilities at Philips and various NHS trusts, focusing on treatment planning, clinical leadership, and the development of advanced oncology solutions.
