Hermes Taylor-Weiner

Hermes Taylor-Weiner has extensive experience in various scientific and policy roles. Hermes worked as a Senior Manager and Manager in Chemistry and Flow Cell at Element Biosciences. Prior to that, Hermes served as a AAAS/BPS Congressional Science & Engineering Policy Fellow at the United States Senate, where Hermes focused on health policy and gained legislative experience. Hermes also worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on microfluidics, and as a Graduate Student at the University of California, San Diego, where Hermes worked on biomaterials research. Hermes holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.
