Joel Garcia

Joel Garcia is a seasoned professional in the field of application science with significant experience in genome sequencing and molecular technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Field Application Scientist at Element Biosciences since July 2023, Joel previously held the position of Field Application Scientist for Ion Torrent NGS and CE Products at Thermo Fisher Scientific from August 2020 to July 2023. Before that, Joel contributed as a Staff Associate at the Columbia University Medical Center's Center for Infection & Immunity from 2008 to August 2020. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the University of South Dakota.
