Jim Halliday

EVP & COO at Element Financial

Jim Halliday is Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the end-to-end client experience and fulfilment across all products, services and departments, focused on delivering consistent, superior client-centric service across Element’s operations globally.

Halliday has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the fleet industry. Most recently, he was President & CEO of Element Fleet Management International, where he was responsible for Element’s international businesses, the Element-Arval global alliance, and business development initiatives. Prior to this role, Halliday held senior executive, operations, commercial, and business development roles within Element and PHH Corporation, including President and CEO of North America, and President of PHH Fleet Management. Halliday earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Jacqui McGillivray

Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer

Jacqui McGillivray is Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. She is responsible for creating a high-performing culture that fosters collaboration and drives productivity. McGillivray is accountable for our global balanced scorecard, people and organizational performance, talent management and development, global compensation and benefits, real estate and workplace and communications.

McGillivray has held leadership roles across a diverse range of industries, with a focus on human resources, change management and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining Element, McGillivray was Executive Vice President, Safety & Organization Effectiveness at Cenovus Energy, and previously held senior HR leadership roles at Talisman Energy, Royal Bank of Canada and Nortel. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario and an international MBA from Manchester Business School and McGill University.

Vineet Gupta

Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Vineet Gupta is Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer. He oversees the transformation of existing infrastructure and internal services while planning for next generation technology.

Gupta is an esteemed leader who brings more than 20 years of technology and engineering expertise to Element. He most recently served as the Chief Information Officer for Accor Hotel luxury brands and deputy CIO for the group as a whole. Gupta graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and earned a Master of Engineering degree from Concordia University. He holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Chris Gittens

Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

Chris Gittens is Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. Chris leads a newly formed business unit that provides strategic support to designated clients with unique requirements. Chris's group develops dynamic, innovative approaches to the client service model in support of Element's continued growth, through a focus on delivering unparalleled client service and thought leadership.

Gittens has been in the fleet industry for more than a decade and was previously President of Canada for Element. Prior to entering the fleet industry, he held successful commercial leadership roles in equipment financing and Commercial Lending at GE Capital and TD Commercial. He holds an Honours degree in economics with a minor in financial management from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.

David Madrigal

Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer

David Madrigal is Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for the U.S. and Canada. He leads Element’s growth strategy and his primary focus is on developing new client relationships, the success of existing clients and driving commercial excellence.

David has been in fleet management and commercial finance for nearly 20 years; from 2015-2019 he built Element's high-performing Mexico team from the ground up, solidifying Element’s reputation as an industry leader in the region. His experience spans sales, credit, marketing, operations, project management and business development. Throughout his career, he has achieved a successful record of generating revenues, increasing market penetration, reducing costs and improving business performance. Madrigal holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from IPADE Business School.

Israel (Izzy) Kaufman

Executive Vice President & Treasurer

Israel (Izzy) Kaufman is Executive Vice President & Treasurer. He is responsible for executing Element’s best-in-class funding strategy, and overall development and optimization of the company's capital structure and debt programs. He is also responsible for the risk profile of the company through management of the liquidity, interest rate and FX risks. Kaufman manages the company's relationships with its banking syndicate and rating agencies.

Kaufman joined Element in 2019 and brings more than two decades of experience in treasury at leading financial services companies including CIT Group Inc. where he was Global Treasurer, and Goldman Sachs Bank USA, overseeing key areas including funding, liquidity, interest-rate risk, and banking relationships. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yeshiva University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from Columbia Business School.

David Colman

Executive Vice President & General Counsel

David Colman is Executive Vice President & General Counsel. He manages the legal, regulatory and governance functions of the business. Colman’s team oversees the legal matters associated with client and vendor relationships, litigation, regulatory matters and the work of outside counsel, and supports Element’s Board of Directors.

Colman joined Element in 2017 after five years at Blake, Cassels & Graydon, LLP. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration and European history from Washington and Lee University and his law degree and a Master of International Relations degree from the University of Toronto.

Aaron Baxter

Executive Vice President, Custom Fleet, Australia and New Zealand

Aaron Baxter is Executive Vice President of Custom Fleet Australia and New Zealand, part of Element Fleet Management. He oversees Element's Australia and New Zealand business, supporting its clients with valuable data and insights to run their fleets more efficiently and safely.

Baxter brings extensive expertise in financial services, growth and innovation strategies across a number of consumer and commercial businesses. He previously held senior positions with GE Capital, including Managing Director of Commercial with responsibility for strategy and operations across its Australia and New Zealand business units: fleet services, equipment finance, corporate finance and distribution finance. Prior to that, he was CEO of GE Capital New Zealand. He has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Economics) and an MBA from Victoria University in Melbourne.
