Tom Lazar, LEED AP-ND, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Element Fleet Management. Prior to this, they worked at PALFINGER North America as the Regional Sales Manager, where they played a key role in developing business strategies for the creation of the industry's first Connected-Smart Trailer. Tom also developed fleet partnerships with major US fleets. Before that, Tom worked as the Interim Proprietor at M.L. Grinding Company and as a Leasing Business Development Account Executive at Volvo Trucks. Tom gained valuable experience at Ryder System, Inc. as a Rental Sales Manager, where they excelled in increasing national accounts rental revenue, improving rental fleet utilization, and generating new accounts. Tom also completed the Ryder Management Development Trainee Program during their time at Ryder.
Tom Lazar, LEED AP-ND, obtained a degree in Organizational Communication with a focus on Business/Corporate Communications from Kent State University between 2005 and 2010. In 2013, they earned the LEED AP-Neighborhood Development certification from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). Additionally, in 2018, they obtained the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) certification from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
