Chad Effertz

Chad Effertz currently serves as the Director of Product Management at Elemental Enzymes, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Chad was the Head of Field Technology at Kula Bio from January 2024 to September 2025. Chad's extensive experience includes serving as the Head of Development for North America at UPL between February 2019 and December 2023, and various leadership roles at Arysta LifeScience from February 2008 to August 2023, including Head of R&D, Herbicide Marketing Manager, and Herbicide Development Manager. Earlier in his career, Chad worked as a Research Scientist at agro-tech from August 2002 to January 2008, and as Development Manager at Bayer CropScience from February 1995 to September 2002. Chad holds a Master's degree in Crop and Weed Science, Agronomy and Crop Science from North Dakota State University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
