Chloe Johnson has extensive work experience in the field of materials engineering and research. Chloe is currently employed as a Materials Engineer at Elementum 3D since 2022. Chloe'sprevious work includes a role as a Part-Time Student Research Assistant at Trefny Innovative Instruction Center, where they worked on an NSF PEER Grant project. Chloe also served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines, focusing on microstructural development of additively manufactured alloys. Chloe has also worked as an Engineer Intern at Elementum 3D, where they gained experience in material changes and design optimization. Chloe's previous work experience includes internships at National Brick Research Center, Nucor Steel Berkeley, and Sonoco, where they gained hands-on experience in various aspects of materials engineering and research.

Chloe Johnson pursued their education at Clemson University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2017 to 2021, Chloe furthered their education at the Colorado School of Mines, specializing in Metallurgical Engineering and earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
