Valerie Medelyan

Valerie Medelyan is currently working as the Vice President of Compliance & Associate Counsel at Elementum Advisors, LLC since March 2021. Previously, Valerie held the position of Senior Compliance Analyst at Ariel Investments from February 2018 to March 2021. Before that, Valerie worked as a Regulatory Analyst - Insider Trading at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) from January 2016 to February 2018. Valerie also has experience as a Compliance Analyst at the Chicago Stock Exchange from December 2014 to December 2015. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Columbia College Chicago and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
