Erica Ferro

Erica Ferro has extensive work experience in various industries, including software, technology, and finance. Erica currently serves as the Vice President of Global Sales Operations & Presales at Elemica since April 2022. Previously, they worked at Hitachi Energy, where they held two roles: Vice President of Product & Industry Marketing, Grid Automation from January 2021 to March 2022, and Vice President of Cloud Solutions throughout 2020.

Before joining Hitachi Energy, Erica worked at PowerPlan, Inc. for several years. Erica held the position of Vice President of Presales and led a global team supporting the sales of finance, accounting, regulatory, and planning software in industries such as utilities, rail, mining, oil and gas, chemicals, and petroleum. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Solution Consulting, focusing on financial planning and regulatory solutions for utility and oil and gas clients.

Erica also gained valuable experience during their time at IBM. Erica held several positions, including Strategy & Solution Director and Global Energy & Utilities Industry Executive, where they focused on business development and market share in the smart grid technology sector. Erica also worked as a Solution Offering Manager, developing new business solutions for utility clients and filing patent applications. In addition, they served as a Joint Alliance CFO and Sales Operations Manager, overseeing financial controls and generating significant sales revenue.

Early in their career, Erica worked at Citi as a Senior Financial Analyst, supporting the private bank finance and planning team. Erica also gained experience as a Financial Analyst in Sales & Distribution at IBM and as a Senior Marketing Consultant at John Morton Co.

Throughout their career, Erica has demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and a strong understanding of various industries. Their experience spans sales, marketing, finance, and solution development, making their a well-rounded professional.

Erica Ferro completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Northwestern University from 1989 to 1993. Following that, they pursued further education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1995 to 1997 where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with Honors, specializing in Finance.
