William Strickland

William Strickland has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, holding leadership roles in various companies.

William began their career at GSK in 1997, where they served as the MSL Director for eight years.

In 2005, Strickland joined Bristol-Myers Squibb as the Director of Field Medical Science in Virology, and later transitioned to Oncology. William held these positions until 2008.

At AstraZeneca, Strickland served as the Oncology Senior Therapeutic Brand Leader for a year, where they led a team of medical science liaisons and therapeutic brand leaders. Subsequently, they became the Senior Director of US Medical Resources, overseeing medical information and the Virtual Scientific Exchange Center. William then advanced to become the Executive Director of Global Medical Resources, leading global medical science liaisons excellence and enhancing customer engagement by implementing innovative programs.

From 2019 to 2020, Strickland worked at Allergan as the AVP of US Field Medical, managing a team of over 120 Medical Science Liaisons. William successfully launched Ubrogepant and Vraylar.

Currently, Strickland is employed at Elevar Therapeutics. William initially served as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs Operations & Communications before being promoted to Head of Medical Affairs, and finally as the Vice President of Medical Affairs.

William Strickland has a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree from the University of Michigan, which they completed in 2021. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC San Diego. The specific start and end years for their biochemistry education were not provided.
