Nevran Ozguven Jain

Nevran Ozguven Jain has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries such as health, lighting, and solar energy. Nevran began their career as a research assistant at Stanford University, where they studied SiGe heterostructures and selective oxidation. Nevran then moved on to Solexel and managed the entire silicon solar cell fabrication process in the pilot fab. At Bridgelux Inc., they worked as a product engineer, program manager, senior product line manager, and director of program management. Nevran played a key role in the company's successful launch of several new products by managing cross-functional teams and overseeing product development, manufacturing, and launch. At Lumo Bodytech, they served as the director of operations and VP of operations & consumer business, where they managed manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and customer support, achieving significant cost reduction for the existing product line and bringing up a new China manufacturing partner. Most recently, they have been an operations consultant, and starting in 2023, they will be the head of operations at Empo Health.

Nevran Ozguven Jain obtained their B.S. in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University in 2001. Nevran then pursued an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University from 2001 to 2004. Nevran continued their studies at Stanford University, earning a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from 2004 to 2007.
