Katherine Shannon

Katherine Shannon currently serves as the Site Head at ElevateBio, a role taken on in February 2025. Prior to this position, Katherine held multiple senior director roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific from May 2019 to January 2025, leading the Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Innovation teams, as well as overseeing the Facilities & Engineering and Portfolio Management functions within the Viral Vector Services. Katherine's expertise also includes a tenure as Senior Director of Engineering at Brammer Bio, where responsibilities encompassed global engineering functions and the establishment of new manufacturing sites, as well as previous positions at Biogen and Sanofi Pasteur. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
