Joel Peer

Joel Peer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joel has most recently served as an Advisory Board Member at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business since 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Elevations Credit Union, including Director of Business Intelligence and Business Intelligence Manager. Before joining Elevations Credit Union, Joel worked at IBM as an Information Technology Operational Team Leader, where they provided technical support and published technical documentation. Joel also has experience as an Application Support Analyst at Kelly Services and as a Bank Service Teller at Wells Fargo Bank. Early in their career, Joel worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill as a Service Manager and Assistant Store Manager, and at Smashburger as a Cashier.

Joel Peer obtained their B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Northern Colorado from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they received their H.S. diploma in Pre-Engineering from Centaurus High School from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Joel has obtained certifications including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Acuity Institute in 2023. In 2015, they also obtained the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from ServiceNow. Furthermore, they have completed a course in Data Strategy from LinkedIn, although the exact date of completion is unknown.
