Yateen Patel, PhD

Yateen Patel, PhD has several years of experience in various scientific roles. Yateen is currently working as an In Vivo Scientist at Eleven Therapeutics since May 2023. Previously, they worked as a Scientific Officer at RXCELERATE LIMITED from April 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they were a Specimen Processor at PerkinElmer, Inc. from January 2022 to April 2022. Early in their career, Yateen served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cardiff University from September 2010 to August 2017. In this role, they conducted in vivo modeling of neurological disorders and contributed to peer-reviewed scientific research papers. Yateen also actively participated in internal committees to support research efforts within the university. Yateen's work experience also includes a role as an Assistant Store Manager at Domino's Pizza UK & Ireland Ltd from September 2007 to September 2011, where they developed skills in people management, procurement, quality control, and leadership. After completing their undergraduate studies, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Research (MRes) degree at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, specializing in bioscience.

Finally, from 2017 to 2021, Yateen Patel attended Imperial College London, where they successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism.
