Daniele Margarone

Daniele Margarone is currently the Head of Ion Acceleration & Applications Of High Energy Particles at ELI Beamlines. Prior to this, they worked as a metrologist at the Czech Metrology Institute from January 1998 to December 2011. There, they were responsible for metrology of radionuclides in nuclear medicine.

Daniele Margarone earned their PhD in dosimetry, metrology, physics, nuclear engineering, and radiation protection from the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Daniele Margarone works with Stefan Weber - Head, Plasma Physics & Ultra-high Intensity Interaction, Bedřich Rus - Head, Laser Systems, and Martin Laub - Head, Construction & Design Support. Daniele Margarone reports to Roman Hvězda, Director, Eli Beamlines Facility.
