Jaroslav Kaspar

Jaroslav Kaspar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety systems, risk management, and finance. Currently serving as a Safety System Specialist at ELI Beamlines since April 2017, Jaroslav specializes in laser system safety and risk assessment. Prior roles include Project Manager and Safety Specialist at Škoda Transportation, managing international rail projects and implementing various risk assessment methodologies. Jaroslav's foundational experience includes a tenure as Risk Manager at ČEZ a.s., overseeing financial risk management, and roles in treasury management and trading at O2 Czech Republic and CSOB. With a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Jaroslav has contributed to nuclear safety research and probabilistic risk assessment at the Nuclear Research Institute Rez plc. Jaroslav's education also includes postgraduate studies in Banking and Finance from Oklahoma City University.
