Joséphine Nefontaine

Joséphine Nefontaine is currently the M&A and Business Development Manager at Elia, a position held since August 2025, where responsibilities include driving strategic growth through M&A deal execution and fostering global partnerships to support energy transition initiatives. Prior to this role, Joséphine gained extensive consultancy experience at Oliver Wyman from August 2022 to January 2025, and at BDO Belgium from January 2020 to June 2022, holding positions from Consultant to Senior Management Consultant in Strategy & Transformation. Earlier experience includes serving as Business Manager at Initio from January 2019 to January 2020, and completing a credited internship in Consulting Services at PwC Belgium in 2017. Joséphine holds a Master’s Degree in Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, complemented by exchange programs at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Maastricht University, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Engineering from Université de Namur.
