Vaidas Armonas

Vaidas Armonas is currently the Head of Data Science at Eliq. Prior to this, they were a Lead Data Scientist at Genus AI. Vaidas has also worked as a Senior ML Engineer at Genus AI.

Armonas has extensive experience in leading and expanding teams of data scientists. Vaidas has also spearhead ML efforts for creative scoring, data enrichment, and modeling business KPIs for paid social campaigns. Additionally, they have successfully delivered on big and small projects during challenging periods that required an unconventional approach to mapping business problems to ML problems.

Armonas is skilled in Python, AWS, SageMaker, LightGBM, and Arcanist.

Vaidas Armonas has completed a Master of Science in Finance from Aarhus Universitet, an Introduction to Self Driving Car from Udacity, an Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree from Udacity, a Nano Degree Foundation in Deep Learning from Udacity, and a Professional Bachelor in Banking from Vilnius College of Higher Education. Vaidas is also an Erasmus student in Finance from Intercollege and has completed a CFA level 1 from the CFA institute. In addition, they have received certification from Build Stuff - Software Development Conference in Shortcut to Tech Leadership, Coursera in Accelerated Computer Science Fundamentals, Coursera in Deep Learning, Udemy in Signal processing problems solved in matlab and python, Coursera in Programming Languages, Part C, and Coursera in Programming Languages, Part A.
