Kaur Lillepõld

Kaur Lillepõld has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Kaur started their career as a Technician at Norby Telecom AS, where they solved clients' network problems and implemented new clients to the network. Kaur then moved on to become a Project Manager at the same company, managing network nodes and upgrades, and solving network issues.

After working at Norby Telecom AS, Kaur joined Linxtelecom as a CNI Technician, where they were responsible for client implementation, managing network nodes, and planning network node upgrades. Kaur also supported the sales department in developing new client connections and improving existing connections. Kaur later became the CNI Team Leader at Linxtelecom, managing the work of the CNI Team and ensuring work orders were organized and feedback was provided.

Kaur's next role was at Playtech, where they worked as a Technical Project Manager. In this position, they managed technical infrastructure projects, created project timelines and scope, and planned resources.

Kaur then joined SEB Bank as the Head of the Baltic Network and Telephony department, where they led the department and managed vendor relations. Kaur was also responsible for operational and procedure management.

Following their time at SEB Bank, Kaur worked at Ericsson as the Manager of IT Engineering. Their role involved overseeing IT engineering, ensuring efficient operations, and managing projects.

Kaur then joined Coop Eesti as the Information Security Manager, responsible for overseeing information security activities within the company.

Most recently, they have been working at Tallinn Polytechnic School as a Teacher, and will be joining Elisa Eesti AS as an Information Technology Infrastructure Team Lead in 2023.

Throughout their career, Kaur has gained extensive experience in IT project management, fiber optic network planning and maintenance, LAN and WAN network planning and maintenance, and information security management.

Kaur Lillepõld completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Systems Engineering at Tallinn University of Technology from 2002 to 2009. Kaur then pursued a Master's degree in Management of Information Technology at Tallinn University from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Kaur Lillepõld obtained a certification as an Internal Security Assessor (ISA) from the PCI Security Standards Council in April 2022.
