Ossi Väänänen

Ossi Väänänen is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response and forensic analysis. Currently serving as the Lead Incident Responder at Elisa since June 2023, Väänänen specializes in digital forensics, including log artifact recovery and forensic analysis of legacy systems. As the founder of HelSec and a volunteer at KyberVPK, Väänänen contributes to the cybersecurity community. Previous roles include Product Security Engineer at Mattermost, Chief Security Architect at Sanoma, and Senior Staff Engineer at IDT Corporation, among others. Väänänen holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Software Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and an International Baccalaureate.
