Josephine A.

Josephine A. is currently serving as an INSPIRE Scholar at the Health Resources and Services Administration since August 2023, following their role as a Home Health Aide at Elite Care Management, Inc. since July 2022. Josephine has held various positions including Scholar at the Wentcher Foundation and Healthcare Assistant at Carle Health, providing compassionate patient care and performing essential duties in healthcare settings. Josephine's experience also includes a Nurse Intern role at UChicago Medicine, where clinical skills were developed through hands-on patient care and procedures. Josephine previously contributed as an Education Mentor/Tutor at Chicago Youth Programs and participated in the Summer Health Professional Education Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Josephine began training in nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science at UIC College of Nursing.
