Tara N Hoover

Tara Hoover is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Director of Residence Life at Elizabethtown College, where responsibilities include overseeing the Residence Life department and the housing selection, move-in, and room change processes. With prior roles at Elizabethtown College as Housing Operations Coordinator and Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life, Tara managed teams of Resident Assistants and contributed to the recruitment of student leaders. Additional work experience includes positions as Assistant Teacher at Elizabethtown Child Care Center, Key Holder and Associate at Bath & Body Works, Head Cashier and Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, and various assistant roles at Alcoa and Dickinson College. Tara holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Drexel University and two Bachelor’s Degrees from Dickinson College in Asian and European History, as well as an additional Bachelor’s Degree from Allegheny College.
