Ashley Unmacht

Ashley Unmacht serves as the Assistant Director of Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since July 2023, overseeing the Lakeshore residence life area, supervising staff, and managing resident support services while responding to high-level emergency situations. Prior to this role, Ashley was a Community Director at the University of Arizona from August 2020 to July 2023, leading operations for a 370-bed residence hall, supervising multiple residence staff, and implementing educational programs. Experience also includes serving as an Assistant Complex Director at The University of Kansas, where responsibilities encompassed crisis response, student conduct adjudication, and programming oversight. Ashley's career began with an internship at Purchase College, SUNY, focusing on orientation leader training and new student programs. Ashley holds a Master of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
