Corey Jones

Corey Jones has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry. Corey started their career as a Relocation & Logistics Intern at Crown Relocations in 2009. In 2011, they worked as a Quality Control Intern at Tejas Tubular, where they conducted various testing and analysis tasks in the metallurgy lab. In 2012, Corey interned at Oasis Petroleum as a Drilling Intern, gaining field experience and working with the Open Wells program. The following year, they joined Chesapeake Energy as a Drilling Operations Intern, focusing on data accuracy and quality control in the Drilling Operations Center. In 2014, Corey worked as a Petroleum Planning Intern at Enersight, providing support and consulting for project planning software. Corey then progressed within the energy industry, joining EP ENERGY in 2016 as a Production Operations Engineer, later transitioning to the roles of Production Engineer and Senior Production Engineer. Corey continued to advance their career, joining Javelin Energy Partners, a Crescent Energy Company, in 2022 as a Senior Production Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Production Engineer at Elk Petroleum, where they apply their extensive industry experience.

Corey Jones completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University between the years 2010 and 2015.
