Neil Bennett

Neil Bennett has extensive work experience, starting with their role as a Teaching/Research Assistant and IT Technical Support at the University of Rhode Island from 2007 to 2009. Neil then worked at AwareManager from 2009 to 2016, where they held multiple roles, including Technical Lead and Programmer Analyst. During their time at AwareManager, Neil led the development of core features, acted as a design lead and agile coach, initiated DevOps processes, and engaged with clients at the CTO level.

From 2016 to 2022, Neil worked at clypd, inc. where they held various positions, including Principal Solutions Engineer, Senior Solutions Engineer, and Solutions Engineer. Neil joined Xandr in 2019 and held the roles of Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead and Engineering Manager - TV Marketplace.

In 2022, Neil also took on the role of Volunteer Mentor at The Marcy Lab School. Neil then joined Microsoft in 2022 as a Senior Software Engineering Manager for Xandr - A Microsoft Company. Most recently, they joined Ellevation Education in 2023 as an Engineering Manager.

Neil Bennett completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine from 2002 to 2007. Neil then pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island from 2007 to 2009.
