Emma Thorsén has extensive work experience in various leadership roles, primarily in customer-focused positions. Emma is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Customer and Market Officer at Ellevio AB, where they lead the Customer and Market division and drives the transition towards a fossil-free society. In this role, they were responsible for customer base growth and key metrics related to usage, satisfaction, retention, and winback. Emma built and led four departments, ensuring a customer-centric approach in product and content prioritization and data-driven decision-making based on big data.
Previously, Thorsén held the position of Chief CRM and Operations Officer at Viasat Sverige, where they drove revenue and customer base development for TV, broadband, and telephony products. Emma transformed and built three departments and negotiated new contracts to enhance sales focus, reduce costs, and improve customer service and installation.
Thorsén also worked at Canal Digital in various roles, including Director of Customer Relations & IT and Director of Product and Business Development. Emma led teams and played a critical role in generating significant revenue and managing customer experience, service, IT, and product development functions.
Earlier in their career, Thorsén worked as a Manager at XLENT Strategy (former Digiscope Consulting Group) and as Senior Consultant at Gemini Consulting.
Emma Thorsén completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics in 1998.
