Ignas Sidaras

Ignas Sidaras is an experienced legal professional with expertise in data protection, information security, and compliance. Currently serving as an Expert at Ellex since October 2022, Ignas previously held the role of Associate Partner and Data Protection Officer at SPECTRUM LEGIS, overseeing data protection projects for top Lithuanian companies. Prior experience includes advisory roles at KPMG, focusing on GDPR implementation and data privacy management. Ignas has also led the IT department at the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority, involved in cybersecurity policy and contract management. Early career experiences include a legal internship at LINDEN Law Firm and an internship at the European Parliament. Ignas holds multiple degrees, including an LL.M. in European Union law from Université de Bordeaux and a LegalTech LL.M. from Mykolas Romeris University.
